I created these because it pleases me to create them. Go ahead and download them, save them, give them to your friends, print them and hang them on a wall, whatever you want. "Property" is simply not a productive paradigm for art.

The year 2007 had ended with a bang. Or, really, several bangs. Lots of international travel (four countries on two continents in four days -- that might well be a new record even for me). 80+ hours in the air just going places. My mother's death and the attendant first real visit to the place where I was born in quite a number of years. Meeting people I hadn't talked to in, sometimes, decades. And work is crazy as usual.

So I had hoped that early 2008 would bring a little more rest to my life. Hah. Every year I am amazed how I could have thought the previous year that my live was being hectic.

Consequently, artwork has been hectic as well. Mostly quick experimentations with concepts - stuff that could have been worked out more nicely. Could have deserved more thorough tuning. But alas, I'm going for quick thrills at the moment. It's pretty much all I have time for.

So here it is almost May of 2008, and I'm finally tying the first words of the "new" year for the web-page... I just hope there's no bad karma for updating sluggishly...
